Creating different templates for Custom Post Types

Specific pages for listings

3 page templates are required for each Custom Post Type (for example Places, Events etc):

1. GD Detail page
2. GD Archive page
3. GD Archive Item page

You can edit those pages to create your preferred look and layout.

Creating different page templates

1. Duplicate the page template, for example make a copy of the default GD Detail page and name it GD Event Detail.
2. Navigate to the settings for your Custom Post Type, for example Events > Settings.
3. Choose the General tab.
4. Click the Show Advanced button. 
5. Select your new Detail page at Template Page Settings.
