Elementor Pro - Getting Started

Within Elementor's UI you can find all the GD widgets in the GeoDirectory section, as shown here.

Note: The Elementor Page Builder will convert WP Page content into a text editor. Make sure to transfer these shortcodes into a new Elementor shortcode widget. Always use Elementor shortcode widgets for placing GD shortcodes inside pages you edit with Elementor. You can also use Elementor widgets.
This document is a quick-start for installing the sample GD Archive item template. Steps for installing the GD Search and GD Details are very similar.
Steps to install the GD Archive sample template

Note: To use the GeoDirectory templates we have prepared for use with Elementor you must "Connect" your site to Elementor to activate your license for Elementor Pro. See the Elementor Pro article on connecting your site here.

  1. Install and Connect Elementor Pro
  2. Go to Templates - Theme Builder - GD Archive Tab
  3. Click "New"
  4. You will see a popup - Select the Templates tab
  5. Select the GD Archive by Selecting "Import" green link on the template
  6. After the template has been imported use the arrow on the "Update" button to select "Display Conditions"
  7. Choose a new condition and select "All GD Archives"
  8. Save the settings, and Publish the template

Next Steps

Install additional sample templates from the library or create them on your own.

Use Elementor Display Conditions to assign theme builder templates to specific GD templates.
