BETA Release of the new FSE Directory theme
Things you need to know before you install and use this new FSE Directory theme:
- It is a BETA release, it could be used on a live site, but it's probably better to currently use it only on a staging environment. We are working on docs and they will be made public very soon.
- it is a child theme of our new Blockstrap theme (a mashup of the new WordPress block technology and the popular Bootstrap framework)
- It requires GeoDirectory for the listings and maps to work
- The theme introduces the FSE block technology, in order to take advantage of bootstrap elements as blocks it requires the Blockstrap plugin too
- Users of the old Directory Theme will have to rebuild the website from scratch, if they do not want to do so, they can roll back to version 2.8 and keep using the old theme.
