The Category Description widget is used to display the Category Top Description text (not the default description input) from the backend edit category screen.
E.g: Places > Place Categories > Attractions (edit) > Category Top Description.
Location Manager Extension
When installed you are given more options when editing the category top description, you can:
- Use place holder tags to create a general description for all locations.
For example the text "All Attractions %%in_location%%." would change depending on the location you are currently viewing in the URL, so it could be "All Attraction in Paris." - You can individually set a unique description for every single location in your directory, e.g.: Countries, Regions, and cities for every category.
Widget Options
There are no options for this widget except for the Widget title.
