Settings Overview for GD > Settings > Events
This is the Settings Overview for GeoDirectory > Settings > Events page.
You need to have the Events extension installed and activated in order to access these settings.
Date Format
- Input Date Format - Specify the date format to be used in the Add Event form.
- Display Date Format - Specify the date format to be used for displaying event dates on the frontend.
- Use Custom Date Form Setting (A) - If checked, you can use a custom date format setting to display event dates. You will need to specify the custom format in the box under this option.

Listings
- Default Event Filter - Select the default filter or sort view for events on the Listings page. You may choose to sort events by Upcoming, Past, Today, Tomorrow, +7/+30 days, or by the week, month, and so on.
- Disable Recurring Feature (A) - If checked, the recurring event feature will be disabled.
- Hide Event Past Schedules (A) - If checked, the past event schedules will not show up on the event listings page.
- Schedules in Map Popup (A) - You can set the number of dates to be displayed for event marker info window on the map. The default value is one.
- Display Dates in Map Popup - You can choose the filter to view schedule dates for event marker info window on the map. For instance, you can sort the dates by Upcoming, Past, Today, Tomorrow, +7/+30 days, or by the week, month, and so on.
